"Coming from the USA, we had never seen a kangaroo outside of a zoo. This place was AMAZING!! It surpassed every expectation we had, the bed was comfortable, everyone was very nice, and watching the kangaroos in the evening and mornings is something we will never forget!!"

"Quiet area. Comfy bed. Downside: Spa bath was disgusting. Jets need to be cleaned out pumping gunk into the water. BBQ plate rusted and not able to cook on it."

Our main reason for staying in Amamoor was for The Mary Valley Rattler steam train ride to Gympie and return. Was great. We also visited The Cascades just a short drive past Amamoor township. Beautiful walk, thankyou Malcolm for suggesting that.

Perfect if you want to get away from city/suburb build up. Not close to any major stores, but that can be a good thing. A quiet and scenic town.
