"I didn't find the bed very comfortable and woke with a sore back but my wife was fine. The grounds are beautiful as are the buildings and restaurants and the room and bathroom are spacious and well appointed but our breakfast (included, no charge and from the regular menu) was not so good. Sausages which seemed to have been cooked ahead and were so dry and hard as to be inedible and they had no bacon! Same goes for the potatoes, hard and dry. Eggs were good though. "The inn was beautiful! Staff were excellent. Great care was put into the decor. However, the hallways and room were extremely warm. The window did open to let some fresh air in, but it would have been nice to be able to control the temp better."

"I've stayed here many times and love it. You couldn't be in a better location, easy walking distance to the major hotels and the George Street night life. While there is no front desk, the keypad system on the front door and room assignment on an interior door works just fine. The staff are friendly and helpful. On this particular visit, Mark and Josephine could not have been better. Kudos. I recommend this place highly."
