"The house is really unique, spacious and well equipped. The kitchen area and garden have a rustic charm while the other levels reflect the local roman heritage with marble and frescoes galore. The house is very large and in a quiet neighbourhood with spectacular views over the surrounding hills. En suites are small but practical. On road parking is plentiful. Kitchen equipment is generous if a bit mix and match. TV and white goods all work well though wifi is a bit slow. Had a wonderful few days...

Lots of room for our family of five plus a baby. Our bed was super comfortable, and Maria was kind enough to find us a baby cot for our little grandson to sleep in. The neighborhood is ideal, lots of restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance, and the Villa Pamphilij park is just around the corner if you yearn for a green...

"This property was not convenient to all that we wanted to see in Rome. The house was not well stocked. There was no laundry detergent, limited rolls of toilet paper, limited amount of towels. and truly pitiful bed pillows Uber or taxi expenses were large."

"Lovely Villa, beautifully decorated with lovely pool - One drawback was the club downstairs played music until 1.30 AM on at least 4 night while we were there but still a lovely place to stay."

"We enjoyed our 6 day stay at Donatella's home! She picked us up from the airport late at night! I will never forget that incredible gesture of kindness. We were able to wLk a very short distance to coffee shop, several ristorantes and pizzeria. Supermercato is close by as well. I enjoyed sitting in the back under the canopy during the day and late at night. Neighborhood is very quiet. I loved the mattress and bedding on the double bed in rom with half bath. "We just had a magical stay at this villa with two families and children… looks better than the pictures…, we were easily able pop in and out of all the best tours and sites and restaurants and shopping just a quick cab ride away…. At night drinking wine on the patio while the kids jumped in and out of the hot tub…. Great coffee shop and walking parks just up the street… we would def come back and Great for two families to share."

"Cute little place, had everything we needed. Close to a small market down the street to stock fridge and restaurants/places two streets away. Safe and quiet area reminded me of LA. Communication was immediate. Super close to the train station where you can also get the touring buses. Definitely pay attention to the instructions"

"We spent a very comfortable week in this lovely house. Alfonso, the owner, was a great host and was always responsive and helpful. The area where the house is located seems undiscovered but very beautiful and remains unspoilt by tourists. A day trip to Rome was very easy via a nearby railway station (€6 return). We are a family of 5, with three teenage/20's sons. We enjoyed the pool and ate all of our meals on the spacious balcony. The only things that could have been better were the coffee...

"We've had a lovely stay at this villa. Best way I can describe it is as an authentic Italian experience well away from tourists and the beaten track. Easy to get to Rome though ( train from Zagarolo ) and we can recommend the Hydromania water park too, a 40 minute drive away. We spent most of our time relaxing and the pool was brilliant for our children and we hardly spent any time indoors. A big thanks to the owner PierPaolo and to Angelo the gardener."

Stefania was an excellent host from start to finish, going above an beyond helping us to organise taxis on multiple occasions and offering advice on nearby restaurants and train stations. "Kitchen has everything you would need if you like to cook...and we do! House is spacious-House is secure with fence -gate-lights and fence and hill surrounding it. There are huge metal shutters on each door and window that must be locked and shut whenever u depart. Takes some getting used to. The house has marble floor throughout. The floor is freezing and I highly recommend a large nice area rug at least in main living room so u don't have freezing cold feet. We stayed a month- The yard is nice...

"It is a very clean place, everything is perfect except there was no wifi in the cabin, otherwise nature setting is absolutely beautiful, it was not hard to get to Rome by bus either even though it looks far away from Rome, great experience. Thank you ! "
