"Wonderful staff and a beautiful property. We stayed in the bunkbed room which was perfect for two adults going to a concert. They even have little privacy curtains that you can pull closed, and outlets for both the top and bottom bunk. We grabbed a cocktail at the bar, Candy Bar which was beautiful but you absolutely need a reservation. Fantastic staff, Detroit has some of the best hospitality and every single person I talked to at the hotel was great. "

"The hotel is pretty basic, but they did offer a daily shuttle to downtown and a hot breakfast each morning. Also, the service was great. Everyone at the front desk was nice, especially Steve. The shuttle drivers were great! Very kind, gave us suggestions where to go, and took us to the airport and which made our stay more enjoyable. Thanks to all the staff we encountered!"

"I visited Detroit as a lone female attending the Indycar Grand Prix in the city and wanted somewhere to stay where I felt safe and secure being here on my own. Sonder ticked all those boxes, and the apartment I had was absolutely delightful! Much bigger than I expected, and much better equipped (as a Brit, the kettle was a very welcome find!) with my own kitchen facilities meaning I could pick up some groceries and cook for myself rather than having to go out for dinner every evening. The area around the property felt quite safe, and the DAX Airport Xpress bus dropped off/picked up directly opposite the property which was a massive added bonus. Would definitely stay in another Sonder property again after my experience here."
