"Tara Estate worked well for us as we primarily came to fish out of Davis Harbor, which is relatively close by. The house had a few “quirks”, but they were expected as it is nearing 90 years old. However, the property managers, a Shorlette and Joey, were amazing and made sure we were comfortable and satisfied. Thanks for a great two weeks in Tara Estate!"

"I am originally from The Bahamas and spent every Easter as a child in Rock Sound with my grandparents. My wife and I decided to spend Easter this year with my family. The property is full of history, having been part of the Rock Sound Club started by Arthur Vining Davis. Karen has done an absolutely remarkable job renovating this part of the property - everything from the flooring to the landscaping, interior design...it was all so clean and looked new. "This was our first trip to Eleuthera and we will certainly return! We choose Sky Beach Club for the onsite bar and restaurant and modern facility. Room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Minifridge and full size coffee pit meant we could eat in for breakfast and lunch if we chose. Villa 1 and 2 have lovely views of pool with ocean beyond, yet are secluded behind well maintained landscaping. Pool bar under the watch of Sammy was always a fun place to hang out. Drinks were delicious and Sammy a wealth of knowledge about local happenings. We met many new friends here as you can visit to use the pool if you eat/drink from restaurant. Lobster quesadilla was wonderful! The beach in front of resort is the most beautiful we saw! Almost endless stand of deserted beach. Loved it! Bad points - the road into property is REALLY in poor shape. Go slow and rent a 4 wheel vehicle! Checkin was inattentive. They finally texted us the door code hours after arriving though room was ready. Would have been helpful to drop luggage and see fridge etc before we went to get groceries. Overall a fabulous stay! We will certainly go back! "
