"The hotel was supposed to be in a central location but it was 12 minutes walk to the shops and then a further 12 minutes walk to the bars, so it was too much effort to go out for a beer and something to eat on Saturday night. In cold weather conditions, you really needed to take a taxi everywhere. It was deadly quiet too with no atmosphere. In fact, it was more akin to a gentleman's club, rather than a hotel. "We stayed for 2 nights in Milan--the room was spacious, clean and we loved the standalone tub for a relaxing bath at the end of the day. The bed was very comfortable. The location was amazing; right smack in the middle and walkable to everything. We wouldn't have been able to do so much in Edinburgh for a 2 night stay had it not been for the amazing location. There is an incredible amount of dining options near the hotel that is not "touristy". Would definitely stay again."
