"A good price budget hotel in a perfect location in the Gothic Quarter, truly the heart of Barcelona. Simple, clean and basic ensuite rooms. Surrounded by a maze of alleys containing shops, bars and places to eat. Only negative was noise, some very noisy 5am shouting inside the hotel, although vast majority of people I ever saw were more grown up. "

"The hotel is at the edge of the gothic quarter. The outside and lobby don’t look so good. But the room is clean, newish looking. Everything is fine once you are inside the room. The receptionists are very friendly too. It exceeds my expectations. Like another reviewer stated, just come back before dark then there are plenty of people walking the streets. I don’t think I want to walk back after dark. "

"Great stay, staff were friendly, breakfast buffet was great, lots of offerings, even champagne! Great that they have a shuttle to and from the airport, would not stay if actually planning to visit Barcelona, nothing around, but that’s expected, usually not much around most airport hotels, we had a one night layover, the kitchen was open late, 1am, which was great as our flight arrived at 10:30pm. "
