"Quiet secluded resort on northern end of Phi Phi Don. Boat ride away from nice beaches and snorkeling. Cute, comfortable, private bungalows for rooms. Low tides are extreme, so swimming is limited to high tide. Note that none of the resort restaurants have AC - they are all open-air, so if there is a heat wave, it can be uncomfortable to eat outside, but they do offer room service to your bungalow, which has an AC unit."

Location is beautiful and makes this hotel what it is. Without the view and the perfect dream setting this hotel is average. We would have found it challenging to of stayed here for longer than our chosen time of 4 days due to it being isolated from the rest of the island. But for a short trip to phi phi this is suitable "

"The view from our cabana was terrific overlooking the sea. The size was good for both of us. Was very peaceful and quiet during our 4 days there. Areas not so enjoyable was not having an easy way to get to my cabana from the lower walkway other than climbing a steep embankment. An area for improvement is for the restaurant to have the foods available that are listed on the menu. We purchased many different meals next door at a very small husband/wife on the beach since they had what we wanted. "

"We had a wonderful time at Layana. The transportation from Krabi airport was very much appreciated. It was very hot in Thailand while we were there and the pool was great, we spent hours around it and in it. We rented a scooter to drive around the island, Traffic was limited and we felt safe driving them around the island, Layana recommended the Turtle Beach resort for dinner and it was very good. Our room was very large"
