"Nice new two unit duplex about 30mins drive to Bar Harbor. Tasteful and comfortable furnishings. AC wall units efficient and quiet. Some wear and tear evident on floors and walls. Linens and towels provided and good quality. Large modern kitchen with many utensils and dishes etc. "

However there was a definite smokey smell in the home. My spouse quit smoking years ago and the smell really bothered him especially since we rented a non-smoking property."

"Just a nice place to stay, no real issues other than the thermostats were difficult to figure out, the kitchen roof leaks a little water when you shower upstairs, and the fridge shakes the house when the compressor turns off. Home owner was kind enough to mail me my souvenirs I souvenirs left, and everything was neat and tidy."
