Beautiful hotel, spacious hotel room, incredible staff, hotel dining options are very good. Located on the heart of the CBD. Can walk to almost anything in the CBD. Very good value.

I always stay here. Have for years! Love everything. Great location to drive and stay or fly in and stay. Amazing staff and very large rooms. Safe. Easy to get around. Love the Club and Lobby drinks and food areas. Nice buzz. Nice crowd. Always will return. Located near theatres. Walking distance. Love this Paris end of Collins street - as it’s often referred to. Lots of beautiful family and friend memories.

Staff were lovely in accomodating me in a nice quiet room as I requested prior. The hotel is clean and in a great spot close to the tennis and within walking distance of all the great Melbourne spots. The buffet breakfast is nice and staff were polite and attentive. There is a lovely gentlemen downstairs at concierge who takes care of parking and opening/closing car doors...he has a lot of personality and is a great point of call for guests with a bubbly positive attitude.

Our room was extremely warm, our night stay was extremely uncomfortable due to the room temp. In room dining menu is extremely confusing to use, there are no pictures on the menu which makes ordering hard as you don’t know what your getting. Whenever we called guest services, (to get a pedestal fan, or asking for the correct bedding configuration we ordered) guest services needed to be called twice and they needed reminding g of what we were after. Extremely poor customer service for a 5 star hotel

Great location.
Hotel location is good and near all the shops and transport. Hotel staff were very helpful. Spa is great and gym is fantastic, and it’s 24-hr. Just that the rooms bathtub was not clean daily during the stay, though I am not partly concerned with that.

The Grand Hyatt remains one of the best located large scale hotels in Melbourne. It has good vehicle access with a proper driveway for easy unloading, and a foyer with a sense of space and scale. The rooms have been refitted with a spacious sofa I have also seen in other Grand Hyatts. The bathroom is large with a separate bath which is valued. The service was pleasant without being notable. Two pieces of constructive feedback: the fitness centre and pool are in need of significant investment to modernise them to keep pace with competitor properties. The pool area in particular is becoming poorly maintained. Also it was odd to receive a welcome note with handwritten strike through as to what we were not entitled to (Grand Club access).

The hotel is in a pretty decent location with most things nearby and at a walking distance. The area has good shopping options too with all sorts of brands in and around the area. Even Chinatown is not far from the place. Free Tram Zone nearby is an icing on the cake.
