"The property is well located and good quality, but out-dated and in some areas underwhelming given the price Staff are very welcoming, attentive and do a good job Areas of concern: the ski-storage area is undersized and agricultural given the class of hotel, with basic cages and no heating room or obvious place for changing and fitting skis other than in the main entry which is crowded and wet; the spas and pool facility is great but not available even for teenage kids which is not well...

Cross River Retreat-dcs retreats
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, 25 reviews
"Beautiful position amongst the trees in Sawmill Settlement. The house is a really cool design and build and bathrooms are lovely. The kitchen is modern and very well stocked with utensils and kitchen equipment. I meant to leave a note for the owner that it appears queen bed in room without the ensuite may have broken slats on the bed as the couple in that bed said they kept falling into gap so might be worth checking. Would be lovely base for hiking too."

Historic Miners Cottage on Howqua River
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, 27 reviews
"We loved the Miner's Cottage and would stay again, the only thing is there is no internet access if you do need it. Also you need to bring your own shampoo as this isn't provided.. It may be a good idea to take some bottled water as you have to boil the water before you can drink it. Other than that we loved it, Andy was very friendly, the Cottage was lovely the bed was really comfortable, lovely walks along the river, we didn't want to leave.. Thanks for a lovely stay and for the fresh egg's...
