I was a little disappointed that there was very small tubes of shampoo etc for two person stay over two nights and a request for fresh towels seemed to be an extra forty or so dollars. I never mind paying for accommodation so long as I don't have to supplement basics like shampoo or fresh towels, particularly as the nearest shops are about twenty minutes drive away. "After having stayed at Chateau Elan a few years back and having a great experience, we decided to revisit, but increase the duration of our stay. From the moment we checked in, we were greeted by welcoming staff, and comforted by a balcony room that was made daily, and overlooked part of their golf course. With nearby restaurants literally a short walk away, it made for some laid back nights. Their onsite Day Spa is well worth planning ahead and making a reservation in advance! "
