"Just the right enough out of the-way (don't think you want to dash back into town because you forgot dairy creamer). We went for the dark skies, and brought our telescope. Handy to Ridgway, Montrose, Ouray (and farther south should you want to mingle with well off). And then there is the Black Canyon. Head to the north rim. Cozy cottage and Diane is a great host."

"The setting is a cabin tucked in the valley of Colorado's Little Switzerland with magnificent views in every direction. There are horses in the green pasture and snow caps in the mountains. We enjoyed watching the owner irrigate and work in the fields as the black lab dog with white tipped feet played at his side. The cabin is knotty pine and decorated in a wilderness theme. "My husband and I wanted a getaway for our honeymoon in the mountains and that is exactly what we got. The home was absolutely stunning, tucked away from town with incredible views! The owners were great and was very accommodating to us. Gave us pointers of what is worth doing while we were there and just all around great people.
