Location was pretty good, the staff was excellent, the breakfast was good. This is an older hotel from the 1800s so it had a couple things that caused me to not give it 5 stars. Don't bring food into the room or you will be swarmed with ants everywhere! Very bad experience and the toilet didn't always flush also irritating. Other than those two unfortunate things it was great. I used a can of hairspray to get rid of the ants which helped but they still tried to reappear.

Breakfast was fair for Europe. Housekeeping was the weakest part. Dust on floors and furniture, towels not replaced, no extra rolls of TP. Staff was very friendly except Maria C. Front desk and bell, excellent. Location the best we’ve had in five trips to Rome. We would stay here again.

Great location for seeing all the major sites and it is possible to walk to most places. Nice property. A little noisy with street traffic as it is on a busy road. The shower design is terrible and water splashes all over the marble floor. Had to use most of the room towels to mop up all the water after each shower. For this reason alone I would not stay here again. Our friends in a different room had the same issue. What a shame because this could be fixable with a different shower design.

This hotel was beautiful, marble staircases and near 200 years old, room was cozy with at least 12ft ceilings and a great free breakfast. Located in a fantastic area making it walkable to many historical sites, but sadly we will never stay here again as the shower is not enclosed and no matter how hard we tried over 2 days it flooded the floor as it did in our friends room. I would have loved to have a long hot shower but it would be impossible as we spent 10 minutes each soaking up the floor and the shiny marble that was extremely slippery when wet

It was a nice historic property. The breakfast was disappointing. It was more like fast food… croissants were more cheaply manufactured rather than fresh from the bakery. I was hoping for the good Italian bread, Rosetta’s and brotchen type bread. The price of the room and the quality of hotel should have the top notch breakfast. Staff was very welcoming and kind. Location is great for the train station.
