"We were very impressed with everything about this property. The check-in process was very thorough and easy to understand. We loved the keypad rather than having an actual key - made it easy for different guests arriving at different times. We had three other groups staying at Cypress Lakes at the same time and our villa was the best of all of them. And the view at sunrise with the balloons floating past was amazing. Would definitely book again if we were to stay in the Hunter."

"Two sisters and we stayed for 4 nights. Quiet and central location made it easy to wine taste and eat out. Lovely birds singing and lots of kangaroos around on our walks."

"An excellent property however due to a broken remote control we were unable to use the lovely gas fire. Also there were no instructions for the oven and we were unable to use it as it’s so complicated. This spoiled our stay as we intended having a cosy dinner with our friends. I hope future occupants do not have the same problems."

"A quiet and beautiful property tucked away regardless of how close it is to one of the connecting roads to the rest of Wine Country. Lovely staff who are very welcoming and friendly, always with a smile on their face. My partner and I stayed in the smallest of the villas (Hannah's Loft) and it was perfect for two. Full of the amenities you need along with air conditioner heater, you will be nice and cosy here after a long day of wine tasting and travelling around the gorgeous countryside....

"Overall the property was good, great size and furniture, but we were missing some TV remotes, BBQ wasn't clean on arrival (but was cleaned during our stay) and we had expected wood burning fire not gas based on original communication regarding property facilities."

"didnt realise when i booked that we would be allocated 2 villas -luckily we got 2 very close. one was fine -a bit dated-the other was awful -needs a complete refurb, the outdoor table was so big and the chairs around it were lounge chairs not dining chairs so it was almost impossible for more than 3 people to sit at it. really uncomfortable. in general furniture was terrible-like a retirement village. 3 stars overall for this reason"

"The apartment was great for 3 couples as each room had a king bed. The apartment was clean, central and well suited our needs. With 3 lounges as well, enjoying cheese and biscuits in the lounge room with the fire on was lovely. Our only disappointment was some items weren’t there that would’ve been helpful for cooking ie sharp knives, tongs, more bowls, and there were no placemats."

"Great stay! Unfortunately one night we were attacked by mosquitoes with all doors and windows closed and the shower head would not stay up for a shower. The view is spectacular and the complementary wine was well enjoyed thank you"

"Chez Vous is such a place of tranquility. Sit on the verandah looking at the Beautiful scenery, watch the kangaroos or visiting the lovely locals wineries, markets or have a nice hot chocolate at the hunter valley chocolate factory."

"This property is the perfect retreat, close to wineries and shops for essentials and a lovely pool to swim in. The rooms are large and lovely and the aircon works a treat on hot days! Would definitely rent again!"

"Absolutely loved our stay! Great views, breathtaking sunsets as we sipped our wine and sat around the fire playing boardgames. My furbaby was in absolute heaven. A tiny recommendation would be to upgrade tech like TV, get new movie titles, provide wifi and a basic welcome basket maybe. Other than that, the hosts were so easy to communicate with and helpful. Thanks Robyn and Alan! :) Will definitely be back again."

"Large, beautifully decorated house which felt extremely comfortable and homely. Lots of different living areas for everyone to have space or come together. Lots of things to do - games, books, sporting equipment, or just lovely spots to relax with a glass of wine."
