"We had a great few nights at Lava Lava hotel. The room was comfortable with AC, food was good and reasonable price, but the best part was the service. They helped us with getting to the ferry terminal, and when we had checked out we went back for help with booking a taxi when we missed the bus. They were so so nice and helpful! "

"The resort exceeded my already high expectations. The check in process was easy and I was escorted to my room. I had a beach front suite, doors that opened out to the sea and white sand. The food was always excellent, cocktails nice and strong and the restaurant staff always very attentive. In general, all resort staff were so friendly, welcoming and would go above and beyond to make sure my stay was exceptional. You can book tours through the resort and I’d definitely recommend doing this. Very much enjoyed my stay, will recommend to all friends and I’ll hope to come back some day. "

"Almost tripped stepping out of the building with a one inch lip. Not clearly visible. Parking left something to be desired. Visitors take up the parking spaces and left the guests with out parking. On our way out the cleaning crew were just camping outside my room and no one offered to carry anything to my car that was parked further away from my room. Otherwise, good food options and more should be done with vegetarian and vegan food options. You don’t have good options "

"We stayed in Fale Lina, one of the over the water fales. Surrounded by crystal clear aqua-blue water we spent hours on our large patio watching ocean ripples for sea turtles. (Which we saw often!) Each morning I’d grab my mask and fins and snorkel out to the nearby reef for a closer look at the abundance of sea life. It was like a dream to be in this tropical paradise immersed with these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat. Coconuts’ beaches are pristine, ample and clean. The entire property is peaceful and comfortable with several beach huts to relax under. It was a perfect place to disappear, slow down and recharge. Thursday was FiaFia night in the open air dining room where local village residents told a historic tale of Samoa through song and fire-dance. They were proud and welcoming with this ceremony and it felt special to be part of it. It was a highlight for sure & like nothing I’ve ever experienced. The food is good & fresh, and the chef is happy to make adjustments for dietary needs. The staff is amazing! Very helpful, friendly and kind. We were so happy with our stay here and hope to return one day. Thank you to the beautiful Coconuts family for a wonderful stay!"
