Gorgeous cabin in the granite belt
"A gorgeous little cabin in the granite belt region, perfect for a long weekend. The photos are super accurate. The log fire is cosy, as is the bath and big bed. Centrally located, perfect for checking out the town and region. Check-in process couldn't be easier! Wouldn't hesitate to stay again"

We travelled through Tenterfield just after the fires had been through, so we were unable to do some things. The tourist drive was pleasant, but couldn't see much from Mt Mackenzie lookout. Does look like a beautiful town and we will go back.

In the midst of a terrible drought, so serious that we had to boil water to drink and then it was still awful. Feeling for the poor locals.

The town closes early and food options are limited. Don't wait to go eat dinner.
