"Lovely old school hotel, set in the heart of The Rocks, fab king studio room, with rooftop views across to the Sydney Opera House. Ten minutes to circular quay and heaps of restaurants to choose from. Tayim restaurant is attached to the hotel and the food and service there is second to none. Eric’s bar to grab a happy hour beverage and sit in the lobby is really convenient. Recommend to anyone wanting to stay in The Rocks. "

"Nice place situated conveniently near the harbor. Balcony was perfect for catching a few sunrises. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Only drawback was not their fault. Apparently it’s along a path people go when leaving clubs at 3am I guess. VERY boisterous men and women going by Saturday and Sunday mornings 2-4am. We were jet lagged and couldn’t sleep anyway so it didn’t bother us. "

"Love the old style pub and its history. Comfortable but showing its age, room was noise due to work being done on the block behind the building just outside our bath room window, but the bath room door was water damaged and could not be closed. Would stay again, there appears to be plans to do work on the build in 2024"
