They saved us a perfect parking spot right outside and provided excellent recommendations for the area including dining which was very good. Room was clean and spacious and we slept very well. "We loved this property. We were looking for something authentic and this was definitely it. This apartment had lots of character and ambience. it was well equipped for cooking and living. We loved the spiral staircase and the bedroom on the upper level. We also built a fire in the outdoor fireplace. The grocery store up the street was fantastic along with the fact that it had fill your own bottle of red or white wine."

"Absolutely stunning views from your private balcony! This was the reason we booked here and it did not disappoint. A few restaurants within walking distance but on a very busy street not the best for walking with traffic. We did not care for the hotel restaurants menu so we did not eat there unfortunately. Helvetia a few doors down for greasy pizza and aurora restaurant for lunch and dinner were great choices with beautiful views about 7 minute walk down the road. "

We arrived early so they picked us up from the ferry port with our luggage to save us the walk/bus trip and continued to offer us lifts into Bellagio. Only approx 20min walk from the centre of Locco where there is shopping and train station. On train less than hour to Milan and 20 mins (quick train) to the stunning Verrena. Hotel is peaceful and staff are polite and accommodating. Only criticism, both nights I could hear loud techno music which started around 1.30/2am which must have been from a club nearby"
