"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you are looking for peace and quiet book this house. No phone reception and far off the main roads will give you the perfect escape from the city. We even saw a wombat on our night stroll. What a great experience. Our dog also loved running around the huge property. Highly recommend!"

"Had a lovely stay - glamping tents were immaculate and fitted out to a really high standard. The site was located next door to a beautiful winery and restaurant. Only constructive feedback would be that the cafe onsite opened quite late so we had to go somewhere else for breakfast"

"A comfortable quirkily-decorated house good for friends with three separate double rooms with lovely views and own bathrooms.. beautiful and quiet location. Spa not working but gorgeous sitting around fire pit. Only complaint was a lot of rules but maybe owners have had some bad experiences."

"What an awesome experience- imagine tiny house living with ALL the amenities. Close to the vineyards and the new local tavern! Carolyn and Paul were perfect hosts available when you need them but not intrusive. It felt like we had the place to ourselves and the distance from the other cabins ensured our privacy! "Mist in the Gums is the most peaceful place and quite beautiful. Carol is an excellent host and very friendly. The cabin was so clean and had everything you would need. I would thoroughly recommend Mist in the Gums to anyone. please keep in mind it is quite a way from Lake Macquarie."

"We stayed here for one night at the weekend with my baby girl, husband and 2 couple friends. The house was amply spaced for the 7 of us, it had everything we needed including oil, coffee, a lovely selection of tea. It’s the perfect comfortable base to the hunter region. I cannot recommend this place enough. To top it off, communication with Jodie the host was quick, easy and hassle free- overall a great experience and we’ll cherish forever."

"The property was great. I was a little disappointed that there was very small tubes of shampoo etc for two person stay over two nights and a request for fresh towels seemed to be an extra forty or so dollars. I never mind paying for accommodation so long as I don't have to supplement basics like shampoo or fresh towels, particularly as the nearest shops are about twenty minutes drive away. I would have packed them myself but have stayed in hundreds of hotels and things like fresh towels and...
