Good Value for the Price

"I stayed there with 6 other people that were coming to my wedding. The property looked exactly as the photos. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen could use more cooking supplies, baking supplies. All of the appliances were top notch. The backyard was really pretty and the hot tub was relaxing. The negative aspect is that we did not have gas for cooking or taking hot showers for 24 hours. The host was responsive and worked hard to get a handy man there. He offered a discount to me for the trouble but has not delivered on his word. When we got in the hot tub, the water was just below the top jet, when we got out, it was below the lowest jet towards the setting lumbar location. We told the host but there was no communication regarding this. Also the neighbors on the left facing the house have a German shepherd that they allow to bark for hours early in the morning. One time on the way to get out of the car, the dog was running loose and circling our car. The owner couldn’t get control of the dog so we had to drive away. Overall, it was a great place to house people instead of staying separately in hotel rooms."

"Loved how the pool area is tucked away with everything you need to enjoy it. The large couch was perfect for lounging at the end of the day though some blankets would have been a nice touch. The rooms were nicely decorated and provided ample space for a large group."

Unresponsive host and No access to property

"Our rental of this property was a horror story. The owner did not contact us or respond to any of our emails. Contacted VRBO to get in touch with host with no success. We had to go to the property and find that there was no way to get into the house. The host continues to not respond to us or VRBO. We ended up having to stay in a hotel after communicating with VRBO for two hours. VRBO did pay for a one day hotel stay, but did not contact us the next day to give us an update on rebooking or a refund. We had to call them and argue with them for another two hours before they sent us a written verification that we would have our money refunded. We are now waiting to see if VRBO will actually hold true to their promises."

Centrally located

"Quiet neighborhood and within 20 minutes of most everything in St. Louis. Host had great communication! There is also an alarm for the house, which was nice. Washer and dryer worked well for our needs to be able to wash clothes during a hot week at the soccer fields."

Don't Miss Out on this Property

"I'll start with I didn't pick this place. I went with another property because the pictures were more what I was looking to house my family in. That place didn't confirm. I'm SO glad that they didn't. This house is beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice. We had at least 3 doordash drivers compliment us on the house. There is plenty of room. The house has so many options for entertaining kids, teens, and adults. We came home and my mom immediately wanted to change some things around to mirror this house. You can tell that it's a home, not just a place for people to rent. You can also tell that everything has been designed for comfort. I loved the motion sensor lights in the hallway because I could allow my mom to move around at night without concerns. My bed was really comfortable. Fans and heaters were readily available. I would absolutely book here again."
