The kitchen/dining room is fitted with contemporary appliances and has a large table where everyone can sit together and plan the next day’s activities over dinner. On the ground floor there is also a welcoming living room which offers lovely views over a golf course and surrounding countryside. Ideal for children of all ages, the external games room, shared with the another cottage, offers table tennis, a snooker table and board games, and if you have spent the day on the river there is also a shower room, toilet and drying room.
Just across the road from the cottage there are tennis courts, a bowling green, golf club and play park, as well as riverside walks along the River Tay. You do not have to venture far from the house to find entertainment. Aberfeldy has a cinema, local butcher and baker, supermarket, galleries, book shop, craft shops and boutiques.
This area of highland Perthshire is well known for outdoor activities and from the doorstep guests can enjoy relaxing walks or cycle routes through beautiful scenery. Water sports include white water rafting and canoeing on the River Tay, and just a few miles away is Loch Tay which has sailing and cruises on the loch. For days out guests will find visitor attractions to suit all tastes in the area, including Dewars Whisky Distillery, historic monuments and castles, Ben Lawers Nature Reserve and a Highland safari which takes you up into the mountains to spectacular views and to spot wildlife.
