Une vallée qui se révèle le matin lorsque la brume lève, un décor parfait. Un grand nombre de sentiers dans les environs. Un village charmant avec les services essentiels. Une localisation idéale. Bonjour, nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour chez Monique. Le chalet est traditionnel, chaleureusement décoré et parfaitement équipé. La localisation est idéale : proche des pistes de ski, possibilité de se rendre au téléphérique de l'Essert à pied. Vue magnifique sur la vallée. Un endroit idéal pour des vacances en famille ou entre amis.

Un chalet ou il fait bon vivre, revenir encore et encore. Un chalet qui raconte une histoire vécue par les gens du pays ou le labeur est le maitre mot. Il irradie d’ondes positives, inspirant le courage, la patience, l'amour et l'amitié que toutes âmes sensible à ces qualités ne peuvent ignorer. La récupération des matériaux originels lors de sa réfection sont utilisés à la perfection dans le souci du détail et le respect du style Savoyard. Tout y est, rien ne manque. De la rallonge électrique au pique en bois en passant par les traditionnels services indispensables au plats régionaux, tout est fait pour nous faire passer un moment agréable et convivial. Grands espaces et bons moments en famille
Un très beau séjour dans un chalet spacieux, très confortable (tout marche à merveille et il y a énormément de vaisselle et d'appareils disponibles: du toaster en passant pas le mixer et la machine à café). Les lits sont de bonne qualité , le chauffage marche très bien et la mise à disposition du poêle (et du bois) très agréable. Un bémol ridicule: peut être revoir l'agencement du divan et avoir une télé plus grande pour profiter des soirées. sinon absolument parfait. Merci !

Havre de paix en pleine montagne
Vivez dans un chalet ....un vrai qui hume l'ancien temps mais avec toutes les commodités et le confort actuels. Très spacieux avec des espaces de vie où chacun trouve sa place sans gêner l'autre. Le poêle est très agréable même en juillet quand la pluie et les orages étaient présents. Une belle rénovation (avec tout le confort moderne) qui nous invite à un retour aux sources . Super séjour !

Chalet splendide avec vue incomparable
Le chalet traditionnel a été rénové avec goût et des matériaux de qualité. Le logement est très spacieux et bien équipé. La terrasse abritée , avec sa grande table et sa vue imprenable sur les montagnes, est un ravissement. L’atmosphère montagnarde omniprésente est très chaleureuse. La surface disponible est bien plus vaste que dans les locations habituelles. La cuisine offre tout ce qui est nécessaire. De même, la présence de deux salles de bain et deux WC est appréciable. Le village d’Abondance est charmant et proche de nombreux sites et très intéressants. On y trouve pas mal de commerces et de restaurants. Plusieurs superbes balades partent du Lac des Plagnes, tout proche. La proximité du Lac Léman est aussi un atout. En résumé, un excellent séjour dans un endroit magnifique. A recommander sans aucune hésitation.

Charming chalet, very clean, nicely refurbished and more space than expected from website pictures.
We had a wonderful week in the chalet as a family of four including two young children and would definitely go back! Only negative was having to pay extra for bed linen and then having to make up beds on arrival.

Magnifique vue depuis une belle ferme ancienne
Le charme de cet endroit c'est d'abord la vue magnifique, le bâtiment de ferme authentique et l'intérieur chaleureux et élégant. La situation est très bonne dans une vallée secondaire de la région d'Abondance à quelques minutes en voiture de la ville d'Abondance, très pratique pour les courses. Il y a de nombreuses très belles randonnées de tous niveaux à deux pas. Seul bémol : la route qui passe juste devant le chalet avec du trafic dans la journée (notamment pour tous es randonneurs qu se rendent au lac des Plagnes, depart de diverses randonnees) et le chemin derrière qui dessert d'autres maisons. Cela ne nous a pas dérangé même quand nous étions sur la terrasse. Au total un séjour à la montagne comme nous les adorons.

Cozy chalet in paradise.
The star attraction of this residence is the incredible view on the mountains. Each day we awakened with sunshine and mist rising from the valley. And to complete this picture, the chalet itself has been designed with total comfort in mind. A lovely fireplace (what chalet would be complete without one!), a kitchen designed to handle lots of food and several chefs (without crowding each other), abundant space for luggage, comfortable beds.... no detail has been ignored. In spite of its generous living space, the chalet is always at the right temperature. In-floor heating in the living room area, wall heated towel racks in the bathrooms along with the fireplace keep the chalet toasty warm. The kitchen has every appliance and cooking tool you could possibly need along with a full set of dishes, glasses and eating utensils. It is definitely a lodging where one can arrive and begin enjoying it immediately without needing to visit the local market for the basics. We liked it so well, we've already booked our next visit!!

Excellent séjour au chalet Carolien
Location de qualité, ancienne ferme rénovée avec goût, intérieur chaleureux et personnalisé. Cela change de certaines locations froides et sans âme! le chalet est bien orienté et a une vue dégagée. Très amateurs de rando, Abondance et ses environs offrent un panel de circuits variés et sportifs .Encore merci aux propriétaires pour leur écoute.

très beau chalet tout confort
La location correspond tout à fait à la description du site : chalet tout confort, très bien équipé avec beaucoup de charme. La vue est magnifique sur la vallée. Une terrasse couverte avec une grande table en bois permet d'en profiter agréablement. Place privée de stationnement pour la voiture devant la maison. Le wifi marche très bien. Je recommande cette location. Nous avons bien apprécié les ballades dans la vallée d'Abondance et aussi le restaurant "Les cornettes " à la Chapelle d'Abondance. Il y a un Intermarché à proximité de Chatel.

Chalet agréable et chaleureux
Nous étions 2 adultes & 4 enfants, le châlet est très confortable et bien équipé. La vue est effectivement très belle. La station d'Abondance et le village sont à 5min en voiture et du télécabine. Pistes parfaites pour skier en famille. Très peu de monde et donc d'attente! La Chapelle d'Abondance est très proche et vous y trouverez de bons restaurants! A recommander!!
