While the house does have its little quirks, like years old carpet stains and mismatching light bulbs, we have come back year after year and have seen things improve around the house. It is a cozy place to bring any large group!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Magnolia is a beautiful well furnished home. We were lucky enough to have gotten lots of snow during our stay. It was so beautiful!! I would suggest additional heating on/in the main level bedrooms. There was a dramatic difference in that part of the house. Lots of "It's freezing back here" comments. space heaters would have been most welcome! We kept the thermostat at 70 lest the upstairs get too warm. I did report that there was leaking in the upstairs window. we piled towels to mediate. My only hesitation about returning to Magnolia would be the heating situation. We had a wonderful time!!"

"The owners are very friendly and excellent communicators! We came between snow storms and he offered travel advice, plowed the driveway, and checked in to see if we needed local for food suggestions. The cabin is fantastic and perfect for a small group setting. We came to the area for a team competition and it fit our crew perfectly. It provided a cozy atmosphere and was comfortable enough for us to all get a good night’s sleep. Highly recommend! "

"This is our second year staying here in order to go on the Christmas train ride. It has always been clean and staff are friendly. The only issue we had this year was our tv went out and we called the front desk, they said to wiggle the cables etc and the internet may be not working. We tried all that, but it didnt work. We just decided to head to bed early. Other than that fluke, everything was wonderful. Small breakfast, with just enough options for kids and adults. We will stay here again no doubt. "
