"Property very tastefully furnished, friendly hosts (who speak very little English). OK for 2 people, would be a bit tight for 4. Major issues with swimming pool (out of action for 5 of our 14 days), with water pressure (20 mins for shower to warm up and then only a dribble), extremely loud and frequently barking dog. Although located in a side street it is adjacent to a major road - plenty of traffic noise during the day. Location convenient for Etna and the sites on the east side of the island."

"The location was lovely, beautiful grounds, pool and sea access. The apartment did lack a few basics. There were 3 odd mugs, no bowls, no wine glasses only an odd selection of different glasses. There was no sharp knife or chopping board. We purchased glasses, bowls and knife. Towels were supposed to be changed after 4 days but weren’t."

"We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is beautifully decorated and very clean. It is located at the end of a dead end street so plenty of easy parking. I would recommend having a car for this apartment. We had a tremendous thunderstorm on our first night and had a very short blackout. Unbelievably our host came over through the downpour to make sure we were ok. There is a large grocery store about 5 minutes away to pick up supplies. We had a great dinner out at Le Serre only a few minutes away....

"We held a family reunion at Marilena and Sylvia‘s place and everyone had a great time. It is clean, welcoming, nearby sights such as Catania and Aetna are easily reached, pool area was just perfect for us and the garden is incredibly beautiful. We especially liked that the different families could be accomodated in different and independent apartments. There is a big common area where we could all gather. Marilena and Sylvia went out of their way to make us feel at home and on our request...

"The property is glorious. We were met by our terrific host Viviana and everything explained. The villa is very well equipped and exceeds what is written in the VRBO promo. We and our two middle schoolers, fell in love with the place. As we were departing, one of our cars had a flat tire. Viviana came to the rescue in a short time, got us to a repair shop immediately. The tire was repaired and less than an hour later we were on our way without losing any of our precious vacation time in Sicily....

"Prachtig appartement. Het terras maakt het fantastisch, waar je de zee en de Etna kunt zien. Centraal gelegen tussen Cantania, de Etna en Taormina. De eigenaren stonden bij aankomst ons op te wachten. Ze zijn zeer aardig en hulpvaardig. Er is overigens ook een Lavazza espresso (soort van nespresso) apparaat in het appartement aanwezig, waar je heerlijke koffie mee kunt zetten. "

The location is ideal, the view is exceptional and the host is warm, welcoming and shares important area travel tips: from when to step onto the balcony for sunrise, to where to park and catch the bus to Taormina and Mt Etna. "We loved staying in little Blue 54. Great place with stunning views of Mt. Etna from the rooftop terrace and peaceful water views as we sipped coffee. Very quiet town this time of year, but we made day trips easily going north to Taormina and south to Syracuse. Sergio was flexible and helpful with every question we had. We'll definitely be back!"
