"We had a wonderful time at the Alojamiento Bellavista. Manuel, the owner, was very kind, helpful and truly cared about our well-being. The place is rather new and they are still making the place better and better. They were open to constructive feedback and super responsive. "The Abuelo is a jewel of a hotel in the Callejón! Modern, clean and an amazing proprietor. All are helpful and eager to please. Located in the middle of Carhuaz, they can quickly get you the best guides and transport. The cook is fantastic; it thus is the best restaurant in town and one of the best in the Callejón. We travel a lot, are very fluent in Spanish and would rank it among the nicest rural hotels in Latin America!"
