Nice hotel and grounds with good access to the boardwalk. We stayed at the RIU Arecas, the hotel immediately behind it. The RIU Palace is a good hotel if you want larger hotel gardens and boardwalk access for the elderly etc. However, if you don’t mind walking down a large flight of steps, the RIU Arecas is the same standard and had better food.

Everything was outstanding! The room was spacious, modern, and well-maintained, with facilities in excellent condition. The entertainment options for both adults and kids were fantastic, and the variety of food offered was very good. Plus, the view was absolutely stunning. While the location is conveniently 15 minutes from the airport, it’s a bit far (about a 30-minute drive) from the main tourist hub, Avenida Las Americas. Additionally, it would have been great to see halal food options included, as these were unavailable.

Beautiful setting, very well kept gardens with varied and exotic pants, great landscaping and picturesque buildings set on a side of a cliff. Inside the accommodation is a little dated but well kept.

"Room had basic utensil for a kitchen. One pan and that was it! Food was excellent at Zachary's and staff very friendly. Stayed in block G which got a fair bit of sun, but the other blocks are facing more northerly so limited sun through the day, hence a towel onslaught early morning for the sun beds! ..."
