Peaceful, cozy, secluded getaway
The moment we opened the door the cottage had embraced us both, we felt welcomed and relaxed. This amazing 1860 cottage has been beautifully renovated with rustic features and gorgeous timber furniture throughout. The open fireplace was very romantic along with the fair lights covering the ceil which felt special. The view of its garden was simply amazing. We enjoyed every single part of the cottage and would definitely recommend this Cottage for anyone looking for a weekend getaway. Donna our host was amazing from the booking to our arrival with plenty of information about the local businesses which we enjoyed visiting and supporting the local. Thank you Arukha Cottage for amazing experience..

Spacious cottage-style cabin
Me and my partner stayed here for a few nights in April and loved every minute. The fridge and pantry were stocked with everything we needed, and we used the inside fireplaces to keep us warm every night. It reminded me of a European countryside villa, complete with nearby livestock and the friendliest cats I’ve ever met. It’s secluded, but not at all difficult to find. Thanks Donna for giving us such a lovely stay :)

A beautiful cottage in a picturesque setting, a wonderful location to explore the Adelaide Hills. The cottage is cosy with two fireplaces to keep you warm, a well appointed kitchen and a stunning bathroom. The fridge was stocked with milk, eggs, butter, spreads and granola. There was a fresh loaf from the local bakery waiting on the kitchen benchtop when we arrived! What made this extra special was the great communication and thoughtful messages from the owners before and during our stay. Genuine and lovely people that made our time at Arukah so memorable. Absolutely wonderful!!

Wonderfully relaxing getaway!
Arukah is a beautifully renovated cottage in a blissfully quiet location, but still within an easy drive of Adelaide. Donna and Andy were great hosts - friendly and responsive. We particularly loved the quiet setting, the open fire and the incredibly comfortable bed! Will definitely book again!

Our time at the marvelous Arukah Cottage was truly delightful! It's a place that will always hold a special place in both Eden and my hearts. The cottage's charming presentation and luxurious features epitomise the essence of Australian living. Overall, our experience was incredibly pleasant and memorable.

Tranquility in the Adelaide Hills
My wife and I spent a week at Arukah Cottage and enjoyed our stay very much. Our hosts Donna and Andy greeted us on arrival and were available if needed throughout our stay. They were also very thoughtful, leaving us some lovely treats to enjoy while at the cottage. The cottage was cosy while also being very stylish and set in beautiful grounds. The location is somewhat secluded (which I like) but reasonably near to shops if you need to pop out for anything. Our only regret is being too busy visiting relatives around Adelaide, reducing the amount of time we were able to spend at the cottage. We've done quite a few short stays around Victoria and other parts of Australia and this particular stay is at the top of our list to re-visit. Highly recommended. Thanks again Donna and Andy.
