We are so excited for you to come to stay at our 1880’s Heritage-listed luxury cottage. From majestic high ceilings to ornamental fireplaces throughout, the property oozes colonial character, which has been brought into the 21st century following a stylish modern renovation. Exquisitely located, you will be in the absolute heart of North Adelaide - a stone’s throw away from popular O'Connell Street (50m, 1min walk).
Inside, you will find almost every amenity you can think of; large spacious bedrooms with new high-quality mattresses, a gorgeous kitchen/living space with a 75 inch QLED Smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen with extra large oven and cooktop, super fast 100mbps WiFi, reverse cycle air conditioning, and a huge array of board games and interesting books for your leisure. A double size sofa bed in the second living room is available for bookings of 6 or more guests, or on request.
For entertaining, you will enjoy the gorgeous open plan living area, with huge ceilings and a wall of window panes filling the space with light, complemented by luxurious ceiling to floor curtains. In the warmer months, the spacious courtyard and undercover outdoor entertaining area are a centrepiece.
If peace and quiet is your thing, the original 1800's double brick and stone walls throughout provide a serene and peaceful escape inside the property. You will also be surrounded by North Adelaide’s famous parklands for those who like a hike/walk or a morning run. E-scooters are scattered around the neighbourhood which make exploring North Adelaide by scooter a great deal of fun.
All of North Adelaide’s restaurants and pubs, cafes, bakeries, gyms, supermarkets, liquor stores etc. are within close proximity. The sunroom at the front of the house facing Archer Street is a great place to sit with a cup of tea and “people-watch” out the front window. In the evenings, you will often smell the roasting of meats coming from the Pink Pig restaurant on O’Connell St, which sits just near the back of the house. You will be walking distance to many attractions including the Adelaide Oval, the Zoo, the Botanic Gardens, North Adelaide Golf Course, the Aquatic Centre and the Adelaide CBD (city centre). Nearby bus stops will get you directly to Glenelg beach, Adelaide Central Markets and to the city (with free buses regularly going into the city and to Adelaide Oval).
You will have the entire house to yourself (with the exception of a small locked storeroom). You will be able to self check-in via the digital smart front door lock, with a personalised access code provided to you for your stay. Check in is at 3pm with checkout being at 11am.
Within the house, you will be provided with just about everything you might need including linen and towels, toilet paper, handwash, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Basic pantry items have also been provided, including:

You will have access to private, onsite free parking on the property which is rare for North Adelaide. Access is via the rear laneway and you will be provided with a remote control for the secure roller gate. There is room for 2 vehicles parked behind one and another (and a third parked into the courtyard). There is also some free parking on Archer Street out the front of the house. However, these are short term and most require a permit.
