This distinctive penthouse apartment, located in the thriving West End Precinct, checks all the right boxes.

As soon as you exit the lift and enter the apartment, you'll be impressed.

The open-concept living and dining area on the first level has floor to ceiling windows that look out onto Light Square. Enter a modern commercial kitchen with a steam oven, dishwasher, enormous 900 mm oven and hotplates, and stylish stainless steel benches and cupboards. There is a large pantry and two sizable storage rooms.

You then proceed into your second living/dining area. From here, you may access the rooftop deck and private pool. Please note the pool is not heated. This level also contains a toilet and powder room, laundry and wet shower and toilet for use when outside.

You can access the upstairs bedrooms through the spiral staircase. The enormous master bedroom has space for a desk where you can work while admiring the views of Light Square. His and hers baths and vanities make the bathroom magnificent. Huge walk in a robe. The second and third bedrooms both have ensuite bathrooms and built-in robes.

This property offers a secured garage for 2 vehicles at $15 per car per night.

Providing only the best professionally laundered linen and using disinfectant cleaning products, our trained cleaners will prepare this home to impeccable standard.

Kindly note that due to the architecture of the building, bird droppings on the exterior windows may be visible and these cannot easily be cleaned regularly.

All bookings require a $1,000 bond to cover any damage caused to the property. The Security Bond will only be released after full inspection of the property upon check out. This is to confirm there has been no damage to the property, no missing items and no excessive cleaning is required.

Far below our expectations
This property was far below our expectations leaving us disappointed. Below is a summary of our experience 1. I was contacted two days before our stay notifying me that the air conditioning was not working upstairs. The alternative apartment was far below the standard of what we had booked and no discount was offered to move apartments 2. I was assured that portable air conditioners would be provided upstairs, these were in fact fans and completely ineffective 3. We were contacted at 1pm on our day of arrival stating the apartment now wouldn't be ready until 4pm due to staff shortages with the cleaners. We had our suitcases and bikes with us and needed to offload them. We went to the apartment at 4pm and weren't let in by the cleaners for over an hour, leaving us standing on the street in the baking sun for over an hour. The cleaners were then still in the apartment until 530pm.4. Once inside the apartment we found the upstairs level to be unbearable with the temperature well over 50 degrees Celsius forcing us to sleep on couches in the loungeroom for the first 2 nights.5. The air con technician was in the apartment for over 4 hours on Wednesday and again on Friday, interrupting our stay 6. The cleanliness and overall state of the apartment was of a poor standard and not what we would expect for a premium apartment 7. The call centre staff were unhelpful and difficult to deal with
