Waves and Wine at Sellicks Beach

This newly renovated shack, with ocean and hills views, is located only 2 streets back from the esplanade or approximately 300m from either the drive or walk on beach, in the secluded town of Sellicks Beach.

Offering you the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of the city while maintaining quick and easy access to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. in Aldinga beach, only a 10 minute drive away and local wineries in the McLaren Vale region, only 20 minutes away.

Your home away from home, you won’t want for anything during your stay. We provide all the in home amenities to make your stay more than comfortable. This includes a fully equipped kitchen with a Nespresso coffee machine, 4 person toaster, sandwich press, NutriBullet, Soda stream, kids cutlery and crockery, picnic dinnerware and essential consumables including coffee pods, instant coffee, sugar, tea, olive oil, salt and pepper, spices, tomato and bbq sauce and bread and milk. Kitchen cleaning basics including a pair of gloves, dishwashing liquid, spray and wipe, paper towels, a sponge and a scourer and laundry powder and fabric softener are also available for your use. Our bathrooms come with toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash.

Waves and Wine is a fully fenced, double story home with a large back yard, there’ll be plenty of space for the kids to burn some energy or for families and friends to enjoy a BBQ on the expansive back deck over looking Sellicks hills. Spot the resident kangaroos in the paddock behind the house.

With an upstairs and downstairs bathroom, and separate laundry with a washing machine and dryer, you’ll be able to host large groups comfortably in this beautiful holiday home.

The home is equally as comfortable during winter as in summer. During the winter months, enjoy your time in, pour yourself a wine from the local McLaren Vale wineries, make a delicious dinner with local ingredients from the popular Willunga markets and play some board games (made available to all guests). Or, spend your evening on the back deck with the glow of the chimenea and the hills in the background. Or if your fascinated by the stars, star gazing is amazing in this region.

If you’re staying over summer and heading to the beach, we’ve got you covered with an esky, picnic basket and rug, beach canopy, chairs and beach toys. We’ve also got outdoor games, a high chair, baby bath, potty, porta cot (with linen) and baby gates for the kids. Please ensure you request any children’s items listed above when booking.

During your stay, you’ll have access to the entire property and 2 private car parks in the front yard. There are also plenty of street parks available.

For the safety of our guests we have 4 security cameras on site, 2 at the back and 2 in the front.

Bed linen (including pillows), bath towels, bath mats, hand towels and tea towels provided.

If you need to work from the house, there is a dedicated work desk in the master bedroom upstairs and a computer monitor can be provided at your request. Just use a chair from the dining room for seating.

There is free wifi available and you’ll be able to watch Netflix, Stan, Kayo and free to air tv during your stay. Please don’t log out of any of the accounts.
