"Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay, the hosts were fabulous and nothing was too much bother considering we managed to livl ourselves out the first night after a long drive. "The villa was immacualte and in a beautiful location. Overlooking the coast line with a spacious yard and private pool made it a proper place to escape to but with Rethimno only 10 mins drive away. You'll need a hire car to access the property but the road is easy despite being narrow. Only remote downside was the little farm across the driveway has a peacock and roosters so dont expect a sleep in!"

"Our family had the most amazing stay at this villa. House is well maintained and clean. It is much larger than what it seems in the pictures. Pool was also quite big and overlooked the olive tree field. We found that this villa had everything we needed, appliances were good quality. Beds were comfortable, we all slept very well. We liked the choice of natural bed lined. We really cannot fault the villa, apart the fact that steps are quite steep, so you need to make sure your eyes are on it...

"The large dining area beside the BBQ was very hot, partially due to the air conditioning units being there. So we had to move tables and chairs around on the upper balconies to get a shady enough area for ten of us to sit and eat."

"Excellent stay again at Villa Jazmin. Everything was perfect from arrival to leaving. Nicole kept in touch regarding towels and recommendations. Just a fantastic villa in a great location, a few km outside Plakias. Trips to Rethymno in 35 mins which we did a few times. Great places to eat nearby. Pool was great in 35 deg heat and Pedro was great as usual. Thanks Nicole for another great holiday. 👍"

"Lovely villa in a beautiful location, close to nearby towns & beaches. The property itself cannot be faulted and the listing is accurate. The only negative that we were impacted by is the local 'quiet hours' that we were blissfully unaware of before arrival. Apparently, 15:00-17:30 is a time of the day when the locals want quietness...this was communicated only by finding an unsigned note stuck to the gate on the first morning there. Subsequently, 2 children playing together in the private pool...

"House was clean with breathtaking views as advertised! Was not prepared for steep hill access to villa. Took a few trips to be comfortable with the drive; recommend a SUB rental.Communication with owner and house manager was on point. Owner provided detailed directions, as per location and surrounding areas. However, still have to be careful with GPS directions as it can take you areas that are not suitable for tourist driving. We had a wonderful family trip, and would recommend Villa Cassandra!"

"We all had a wonderful time on our family vacation. The house was very comfortable and clean. The outdoor spaces of this villa are beautiful beyond words. The owners of the home were very nice and welcoming! Katrina even gifted us a few of her pictures which she painted. There are three tavernas within walking distance. They were also awesome! We definitely recommend this experience! Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"Stayed for 12 days in this lovely house and it could well have been more! A top-class house with everything you need to have a wonderful holiday. The house is located in a lovely area and there are plenty of opportunities for excursions in all directions. Sunrise over the mountain top by the pool area with a cup of coffee must be experienced. The hosts are amazing and very helpful in every way. Top marks from here and hope I get the opportunity to come back."

"Michael can only be described as the perfect host. He provided a meal when we arrived and was attentive and helpful at all times. Michael and his family really excelled when we needed a few days extra accommodation at the end of our booked stay, due to a crisis in our family. The villa is further from the town centre than we anticipated, involving walking along a fairly busy road with no footpath. In all other aspects it was a lovely location"

"I’ve just returned from an amazing stay at Villa Emma. The property is spacious and well furnished with a really nice pool. I would really recommend having a car while you are there. The “walkable” beach is a pebble beach and not that great for swimming. Episkopi beach is much nicer but is a drive away.
