"We visited here on our honeymoon. Fantastic and relaxing place to stay while exploring Sicily. The host (and family) are extremely friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful and accommodations are as advertised. Quiet place, great views, lovely pool. Very easy to explore Etna and a short drive to highway to explore the east coast of Sicily. Local recommendations from host for coffee, pastries, restaurants, and activities were all great. We hope to return in the future!"

"This is an AgriTourismo establishment built around a working vineyard. The accommodation is sited uphill from the main establishment (500m above sea level) and has in front of it a lap pool ranging from ankle-deep to 2m, there is a ramp enabling less able clients to access the pool easily. There is also a jacuzzi pool. Adjacent to these is an open-air bar where breakfast is served as well as drinks during the day/evening. The main section houses a covered bar/restaurant. Meals can be ordered a la carte or a buffet-style option together with a wine-tasting option with on-site produced wines. Both options are on the expensive side but well worth it at least a few times. Access to the whole site is above Santa Venerina - trips to Catania and Syracuse are feasible, but for a quiet vacation by the pool this is perfect. The accommodation is clean and reasonably appointed - it is functional rather than luxurious with a small covered porch area overlooking the pool and fabulous view to the sea (7 kms away). The elevation change from the main restaurant to the apartments is quite steep - driving from one to the other is an option - visitors with mobility concerns should bear this in mind. Is it worth a re-visit? Yes."

"B&B about 1/4 up Mount Etna. The draw for me was the location; about a half hr by car to the north side peak access (Piano Provenzana). Quiet, secluded, location with gated parking. They have a good system to give you anytime access without needing coordination (remote for gate) once checked in. Very generous, substantial breakfast (cold cuts, cooked egg, toast -- not just a single Cornetto as many other places). Decor is spartan but functional. Some things are a little dated but it is a house in the mountains. Milo is also pretty quiet -- I was there on a weekend but there was a festival and most of the few restaurants were closed. Google routed me to the wrong address and you won't see the sign if you come up from Giarre directly (the sign is more visible coming from Milo). My host spoke little English (and I spoke less Italian) but he was attentive and helpful and went the extra mile when I discovered that my two-prong Europe plug did not work in Sicily. I would definitely stay again if I ever return to Etna."
