"After we come back from Chefchaouen, we stay here because we take train to Casablanca tomorrow morning. It takes for 30 seconds to get to the train station from the hotel. Also they have a decent restaurant serving ala carte with wine "

"La casa espanyola is truly what I would call a hidden gem in Fes. It is beautiful, surprisingly affordable, and superbly clean. Mohammad, our hotel manager, was very very nice and helpful. He was wry polite, always available , and had very good recommendations about places to see. They made us a wonderful breakfast every morning with chocolate croissants, eggs, pancakes, fruits and vegetable assortment, tea and coffee. "Hotel is ok location...close enough to the train station and new town. A bit of a walk to the medina. The staff were friendly. My room was on the 1st floor just above the bar and bar terrace so the noise was very loud until midnight or someones 1am. So dont expect any sleep before things close up. However i did find a fantastic little cafe close by - Breizh Cafe which is so friendly and does the best well food....all brilliantly priced!"
