"Our second time staying at St. John Villas, it is extremely restful & quiet, being on the hillside above Tsilivi itself. The trade-off for this is that there is a 10 minute walk down the hill to the town, which is pleasant enough - but not so pleasant making the return journey - the 8-10 euros for a taxi is a no-brainer! We had a couple of small issues with the villa which were dealt with immediately by the staff with no fuss. We will definitely stay here again."

"Zakynthos ist eine tolle Insel mit wunderschönem Wasser. Laganas ist eine totale Party Hochburg. Für einen Erholungsurlaub ist Laganas eventuell nicht die optimale Idee. Die Unterkunft ist ab einer Seitenstraße neben der Partymeile gelegen. Für die Nähe zu dem regen Nachtleben, hört man Nachts kaum etwas. Ohne ein Mietwagen o.ä. ist man aber absolut aufgeschmissen. Der Strandabschnitt in Laganas ist ziemlich schmal und mit Liegen voll gestellt, für die man 20€/ Tag zahlt. Das Meer ist dennoch...

The only issue we had was with the bathrooms, it was super old and there was no fan or window to open so it would get wet from taking shower and no way to get rid of that mess. The rattan and wooden furniture, in warm beige, brown, and stone tones, create a cozy and natural atmosphere. The vines draping over the balcony bring a lush, botanical feel that adds to the charm of the space. The staff are incredible. The staff here are genuinely friendly, always smiling, and approachable. I've met such simple, yet happy and beautiful souls—an experience that has been truly eye-opening. I came here seeking solitude, and I've found the perfect space to unwind and recharge. The scenery is breathtaking; the beach is a serene retreat with its fresh, calming atmosphere. I could easily spend the entire day there, listening to the rhythmic crash of waves against the shore, just me, my book, and the gentle hum of people laughing, swimming, and chatting with loved ones. I’m not ready to leave yet, but I know I’ll be back again."

"The Marelen was perfect for us, the breakfast had many options, the pool bar was top notch service, its location is perfectly between the beach and main road for shops etc. We were visiting for a few days for a wedding so staying in different hotels and multiple people mentioned how they really liked our hotel compared to others in the area - we are hoping to be back for a proper holiday next year!"
