"Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sofort abgebrochen und mussten uns ein Hotel suchen. Die Bilder der Ferienwohnung sind stark geschönt und entsprechen in keiner Weise der Realität. Es stinkt überall, die Möbel sind durchgesessen, die Kissen sind gelb verfärbt und die Bettdecken sind fleckig. Von außen blättert die Farbe großflächig ab. Die Umgebung erinnert eher an einen Industriehafen als an ein Urlaubsparadies. Direkt hinter dem Haus verläuft die Autobahn, die dann seitlich über eine große Brücke...

"Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und hat eine wunderbare Lage direkt am Fjord. Es war so ruhig und erholsam. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht, die Betten waren weich und gemütlich. Lediglich das obere Bad war etwas alt. Das Boot ist etwas langsam (6 PS Motor), reichte aber auch vollkommen aus. Lars war super freundlich!"

"Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und stellt viele Informationen zur Verfügung. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und sehr gut ausgestattet, liegt sehr ruhig in der Nähe der Fähre nach Bömol im Ortsteil Buavag von Sveio. Der Garten kann genutzt werden mit verschiedenen Sitzmöglichkeiten, Grill und Holzofen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind 8,5 km entfernt. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön. "I cannot express how much I loved my trip to Haugesund. This flat was PERFECT. Clean, beautiful views, right in town so you can walk anywhere. The owner was always available to answer any questions and very kind when my plans were extended. I will absolutely be coming back and hope to stay in this apartment every time!"

"We stayed at the Maritim Hotel for one night and I'm thankful it was only one night. A terrible night's sleep. Booming bass until 1130 at night. The room had no A/C so it was very hot, opened the door to let air in only to get cigarette fumes and people shouting. Finally fell asleep only to be woken by more shouting outside. Breakfast was good and staff very friendly. "
