"I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is close to the train station and walkable to the old town and Lion Monument. The room was very comfortable and spacious, as was the bathroom. The breakfast was fine. Compared to other places I stayed in Switzerland, it did not offer the same variety and had fewer options, but what was offered was good. The front desk staff were very helpful and courteous. I would definitely consider staying here again if I ever make it back to Lucerne. "

"This was an exceptionally nice hotel in the perfect location. Just a short walk from the train station and close to everything. My husband and I enjoyed a romantic 2 days in this gorgeous little city. We took the train to Mt. Pilatus and really enjoyed the cheese fondue locally. The room was spacious and elegant. The bedding was very comfortable. "

"This is an old building so yes, there will be creaky floors and ‘ambiance’ that some may not appreciate. We found the front desk staff to be very friendly and helpful. The view from our room (552) was out over the street towards Lake Lucerne. We had 3 windows, 2 of which were French doors opening into balconies. Easy walk to bakeries, local cheese shop, grocery, and many ‘best of Lucerne’ sites. Bus to the main train station was super easy. "
