3 minutes off Exit 175... The Intersection of I-40, Route 66 and The Turquoise Trail (N-14). Nestled on the meadow below the cliffs in Quiet Historic Tijeras Village Canyon.

Walk the Villa pathways to the other four Rentals, and along the way see The Vineyard, The Orchard, The Garden, The Redwood Yoga Deck, The Solar Array, The Swing, Ping Pong, Horse shoe Pit. Above the property is Lookout ridge (Now on private property, but you can see where Billy the Kid posted Lookouts for Stagecoach on Route 66, while his gang camped right here on Sunny Mellow Eco Villa).

8 Minutes to Albuquerque. 7 minutes to Cedar Crest, 10 minutes to Edgewood. 50 minutes to Santa Fe.

Great stop for a short stay (and a longer one!)
This place was awesome, the open air shower, bathroom and kitchen were awesome! The bed was so comfortable and the facility was really clean. Wish I could have stayed longer but I plan to come back with the family. Thanks Sunny Mellow EV!

We really enjoyed staying here and hope to come back someday! We are from CO and used this as our overnight stay when going to the Balloon Fiesta and it was great. Easy to find, bed is SOOO comfortable, safe and away from the city. Loved it.

Lovely stay! The nearby area was beautiful as well as private and quiet. The outdoor bathroom and shower were just down the hill from our yurt and the outside kitchen had everything that we needed. The coffee provided was excellent. Enjoyed our stay very much.

If you love the natural, this is THE place to stay! My husband and I visited the Sandia Crest where we got married thirteen years ago and our host, Greg B. was so welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night. The bed is excellent and there’s something to be said about showering outdoors! Had a great time!!

Slice of paradise !
My partner and I had a wonderful staycation in the yoga yurt! It was the perfect blend of outdoors and comfort. Perfect traveling distance for visiting Albuquerque, Santa Fe, or just staying in Tajeras. Greg was fantastic about supplying ideas of what to do as well! We couldn’t have asked for a better escape.

Glamping at its best
We were only here for one night, and were sad that we couldn't stay longer. The yurt was cute and quaint. The bed was super comfy. The view from the sitting area above the yurt was amazing. I highly recommend for persons looking for something different and not just staying at another hotel, but are not into real camping. So peaceful and tranquil. Wished we could have stayed longer.
Private and quiet. Loved the outdoor cozy bathroom with a automatic light that goes on. I always wanted to shower outdoors, got this amazing experience here, now we are seriously talking about setting up a shower for us in our backyard. It was a joy to converse with Greg. Yurt was a wonderful experience and would love to come back later this year.

Nice Space
For someone looking for a little adventure by staying at an unconventional location, this is perfect!! Lots of fun cooking outside. The toilet and shower were a short walk away. They were also "outside" but the shower's hot water came on quickly enough. I only stayed one night but had fun. Would be a great place to spend a few days exploring.

Phenomenal get-away location
This is a wonderful little eco-village in an incredibly well-designed and maintained property. The host, Gregory, provided excellent online support and his wife, Robbie, spent a lot of personalized time showing us around and telling us about all the details. There is so much to do; a yoga platform, walking trails, campfire pit, an adult swing, as well an a beautiful and cozy yurt with an outside kitchen and bathroom. Lovely stay. Thank you!

Peaceful and Lovely
My husband and I loved our experience of staying here. The yurta is very cute and cozy and we stayed warm throughout the night. The outdoor shower can be a bit tricky at night since it's a short walk, but it's a lovely experience to shower outdoors during the day. Had a lovely time talking to the owners and being toured around, and we made some delicious tea from the garden's goodies. Really wonderful time!

Another great stay
This is the second time my wife and I stayed at the Yoga Yurta at Sunny Mellow and it was even better than the first. The owner, Greg, expertly balances engagement and responsiveness with guest privacy. The yurt itself is a perfect balance as well: we could enjoy the outdoors in the shade or the sun and still had a real bed to sleep in. And what a bed it is... We managed to sleep soundly for ten hours each night - that never happens when camping. We'll definitely be back!
