"Beautiful cottage in a great location. Felt at home straight away with all the amenities and more that you could want. Fantastic location, a stone's throw from the beach. Everything provided was tasteful and of a high spec/standard. Would definitely recommend to others to stay. Lucy was easy to contact and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended. "The property was perfectly placed in Aldburgh and had everything you would expect and need for a short stay. Our only critique is that the property is now looking really tired and the owners should think about redecorating, especially the bathrooms. Seeing the endless number of holiday rentals available in Aldburgh I dont think we'd stay again if returning."

"The property is in an excellent position, close to shops, restaurants and the beach, there was parking outside. The bedding and bathrooms were clean however the carpets and upholstery was very stained/dirty. The fridge door was difficult to open as it has no handle, I realise it didn't quite fit into the space but even a stick on handle on the door would have helped. The courtyard garden was unloved and the patio furniture was dirty. The flowerpots outside the front door were full of weeds,...

"We only stayed for one night (booked for 5) as my wife fell down the stairs on the second day and broke her arm. The stairs were very steep and the treads were not deep enough to take more than around half the foot. This should have been properly explained in the description and is most definately not suitable for anyone young or old who has any difficulty in walking or negotiating stairs. As my wife suffers from a condition that effects her balance we most definately would not have booked this...

"Low Tide is very convenient for the beach and Aldeburgh’s excellent High Street, with its own off-road parking. It is a rather small property although we found it both warm and quite comfortable for two. My only gripe is that we both found the mattresses rather too hard for a comfortable nights sleep!"

"Quite a few areas of cleaning could do with attention to detail - floorboards very chipped, dusty between them, bottom removable seal on shower door thick with green mouldy slime (I removed it to clean myself). I think 6 people would have been very hard to squeeze in - limited hanging space for clothes, small towel rail in bathroom etc. Living area very full with the 3 sofas and table."

Weekend break

"We had a wonderful stay. The house had everything we could have needed for our weekend break.The house was welcoming, clean and a short walk to the high street. Lots of little extras/attention to detail made our stay very enjoyable. Bedrooms were all comfortable with crisp white linen. Having 3 bathrooms is a must as a family of 5 with 3 teenagers for the morning rush. They were happy so we were able to get ready and out with no drama’s to enjoy the day exploring Aldeburgh and the surrounding area. "

This should have been properly explained in the description and is most definately not suitable for anyone young or old who has any difficulty in walking or negotiating stairs.
