Great home!
Stayed here with 4 families and had a great time! Plenty of room with both indoor and outdoor activities on site for all ages. Kitchen was well stocked. House was very clean and host communicated well. Lake Ida is a big, clean lake with shallow sandy shoreline. We’d love to come back!

Great family reunion home.
We so enjoyed our stay at Sugar Sand Retreat! The location is ideal and the house was perfect for our group of 10 plus an occasional extra relative. There was plenty of space for our grandchildren ages 13 - 22 to spread out. We rented a pontoon and enjoyed Lake Ida very much!

Loved Lake Ida and the home
We had wonderful stay. Great weather, location and we had everything we needed. The 2 master bedrooms were great for our 2 families. The sunsets at night were amazing and we loved having the fire pit by the lake. We enjoyed a trip to the winery, fishing, skiing, a couple trips to the sand bar and boating around Lake Ida. The large garage for board games was really nice. Thanks.

Beautiful new home that was able to accommodate 10 adults and 7 children. Garage space was great for the kids! Thanks for letting us know about the sandbar. Kids asked to go to it several times!

Siblings get away.
We had a group of 4 couples. The online listing was spot on. It had a wonderfully stocked kitchen. Large space to work in to prepare meals. And beautiful large dining table. The living room was great for watching movies. We used the garage for a project while the guys played ping pong and pool. This is a great place to stay.

Great stay for a lovely Christmas!
Our entire three-generation family stayed here over the Christmas holiday, and the space was perfect. The adults all had their own bedrooms, and the kids loved the bunk bed room. We didn't even utilize anything outdoors because of the weather, and there was plenty to do with the game room, shuffleboard, movie room, etc. We had no problem cooking and serving meals for the entire family with what was provided. We definitely hope to come back again!

House was great. We had plenty of room for our group of 16 (ages 81 to 7 months). The house was well stocked with everything we needed and the host responded quickly to any questions. We didn’t have any problems with the WI-FI with our large group either considering we were using a lot of devices at once. We enjoyed playing games the games that were provided as well. A huge plus is being right next to the boat ramp. We appreciated the opportunity to stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone else considering a stay on Lake Ida. You will not be disappointed!

Wonderful property. Great to stay in something brand new. Loved the yard space and Ida Lake had great fishing. Sleeping accommodations were perfect. We all had a wonderful time!
