"We absolutely loved Francisco’s holiday villa, it was clean and very welcoming with a fantastic pool, my family and I enjoyed the pool immensely. The bedrooms were great with very comfortable and clean matresess and the bathrooms were well set out with an en suite next to the master bedroom. "Rural area, near small village, rural sounds, birdsong, sheep, donkeys, and some landworking. Not intrusive at all. Typical old Spanish cortigo, beams, tiles, old furnishings and decor. Comfortable, well equipped, lovely owners. Great private garden with lovely pool and outdoor dining area. One point, If you do not speak Spanish, get clear directions prior to getting to Spain as house is some 5km out of Cortes on the edge of a smaller village, Canada del Real Tesoro."

"Really relaxing stay in the mountains. The house was really quirky which we all loved & the small pool was perfect in the height of summer. The views from the property are breathtaking. It’s situated in a beautiful white washed town with several cafes / restaurants. Initial issue with access but was quickly resolved by the owner ( who hadn’t been aware of our booking). Esther, the local manager went out of her way to quickly clean the property so we could stay. Overall a fantastic stay & would...

"The grounds of this property are beautiful and well kept. I felt like there could have been more information provided about the history of the buildings and location. The room was clean and decent but there was only one outlet on each side of the bed which had the bedside lamps plugged in so you had to choose between charging devices or a lamp (not the end of the world) the breakfast was lovely and we ate at the restaurant one of our two nights . The food was decent but not anything special. The location of the hotel is gorgeous and so much to do within a 10-15 minute drive. My only true complaint would be that the mattress was old and uncomfortable. If they upgrade that and possibly open a bar/lounge in the area they have appointed for it, as well as upgrade their existing food choices for the restaurant it would be a special place. Definitely not disappointed with my stay"

Relaxing stay on top of a clliff

"We used the free car park outside the town and walked up to the Hotel. no issues at all and gave us the opportunity to get our bearings. the Hotel is sited in the village square. The staff were welcoming, the bedroom was lovely and big overlooking the square. with the wooden shutters we had no issues with noise from the church bells. The breakfast was extensive and we could also order. cooked omelette and eggs. We had a drink before dinner overlooking the plains and mountains breathtaking. we choose to eat in the hotel and weren’t disappointed- we had a tomato soup and pasta dish to start( which could have served as a main) followed by veal tail and venison which were both equally delicious. we would certainly book again. "
