"Nearly could have made it to my best hotel stay yet. Beautiful hotel, a vibrant welcoming atmosphere. Friendly and helpful service at reception and in the sports bar. Less so at the gym. Room was spacious and comfortable temperature, nicely decorated. I was only able to use the gym due to restricted access for the times I was there but the gym was huge with a great variety of equipment. Food was delicious. Overall highly rate and recommend. Would stay again.

"Can't fault this hotel, beautiful place, calm and quiet, clean, comfortable and well equipped. We had a dinner and breakfast during our stay and both were very good. Staff and service spot on and I hope we get the opportunity to stay longer another time so we can try out the spa. Thank you for a really good stay."
"Comfortable room with soft twin beds. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Located literally around the corner from the train station and a walkable mile from the Jane Austen Museum and Chawton House."
"This was a nice surprise- not an outdated older pub hotel experience, very nicely updated rooms and bathroom - the tub was actually large enough to take real bath if you wanted to! Having breakfast included was great, and it was cooked to order... lots of options and not just the 'English" breakfast. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Kid and dog friendly as well."
"The Emily Suite was very spacious and the bed was massive, only downside was no hotel breakfast only offer breakfast at Bill's Restaurant which is onsite. However Beefeater is only 10 min drive away offering all you can eat for £10.99"
"Absolutely wonderful stay! The room was beautifully decorated with all the special touches that made it feel extra luxurious and inviting. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. The staff were amazing—extremely helpful, welcoming, and always ready to go the extra mile to make our stay perfect. Their warmth and hospitality made all the difference. Highly recommend!"
"I arrived on New Years Eve, but the property hadn't warned me that the only food option was a three course meal at £44.50. Similarly on New Years Day, I went early for dinner at 6.15 to be told the kitchen closed at 6. No one had alerted me to the early closure. They did make me some Tapas. If I had known I would have eaten elsewhere before returning to hotel. The food on New Years Day was excellent, I just didn't want to spend that much money. "
"It’s a quiet hotel in a rural area so not exactly ’buzzing’. As it’s an older building with add-ons finding your way to some bedrooms can be a story. It’s all fine, but not exactly a memorable experience. "
"I had a short staycation with my wife and son. Overall, the hotel was nothing short of amazing!
We were very well catered for, free valet parking, amazing gluten free food choices - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was covered in fresh flowers which were amazing.
This hotel caters extremely well for children, with its own child's pool and play facilities inside out.
Would 100% stay again."
"Really lovely place to stay, not what I was expecting at first but I have zero complaints about it!! The staff were fantastic, the rooms were beautiful and the shower controls were mindblowing; the only downside is the pillows/mattress aren’t too comfortable, but everything else about the property is fantastic. Thank you for being so accomodating!!"

Fab hotel and gym
"Gorgeous hotel in lovely grounds. Staff were really welcoming, room was perfectly adequately (although mine had no bath) and lovely dinner in the bar. Hands down the best hotel gym I've ever been to as well!!"

"It’s a beautiful hotel. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable. It’s a perfect location for Windsor town centre and for going across the river to Eton. The Brasserie served a lovely breakfast and you can have a riverside view too. The staff were very helpful and did everything you’d want them to. Will definitely stay again. "
