"Perfect overnight stop. Extremely welcoming and accommodating. A member of staff moved her car so that I had a prime spot! Very helpful staff, breakfast was great and both was too much trouble. They’d installed portable air con because it was a very warm day and night. Room was tastefully decorated and the quality of the materials (fittings, tiles etc) was high."

"Excellent location. Only issue was lack of food available on the second evening due to staff shortages. ( not really what you want to hear when you are hungry). The bathroom was lovely, however it was a little high to climb into the shower, bath and someone who was suffering with a bad a leg found it hard going, also getting out of the bath/shower there was no hand rail to support. "

"The hotel is in a perfect location , the staff very friendly and efficient. The room was clean and serviced well each day. Somethings are a little tired , perhaps the bathrooms need an upgrade . It was nice to use the outside pool on a hot day. Breakfast was good. We did not eat in the hotel other than breakfast and we did not used the full spa facilities so can't comment on them. We would happily stay again . "

The breakfast was very good, the chef can poach an egg properly which can often be a challenge.
