"Hotel is okay from a room/cleaniness. Check-in was a problem with both hotels.com and the actual check-in. Hotels.com doesn't handle international travel well as they didn't put in that the room we chose was double occupancy. It's not in our receipt which is telling me that it probably got lost in the email to the hotel. It's in the app but apparently that wasn't relayed to the hotel. When we checked in, the reception said it was for single occupancy although we paid the double rate already...

"It was well kept from ice. It was a traditional Japanese stay with futon bedding and onsen bath. It was convenient near the ishiuchi maruyama ski resort. "

"Nice traditional old Japanese style stay. Though Breakfast is also traditionally Japanese style with rice! Yes morning Breakfast with rice, we still prefer bread or something light. Room extremely spacious compare to Tokyo city. Might need some renovations to upgrade tho. "

"I chose this hotel for its location next to a ski resort and I liked the look of the tatami rooms. This hotel is very cheap and you get what you pay for. The room was small and old, the futon mattresses you use to make your bed were thin and I woke up achy every day. The staff were helpful and friendly with limited English. We tried a meal at the hotel and were asked to pay in advance and then given no menu - we just got what was given (which wasn’t bad actually). Theu have their own rental for...

"The pros. Easily accessible from bus stop. Traditional style sleeping arrangements and amenities. Which was what we were after. Morning breakfast which was included was awesome. Beautiful window view and location. Perfectly insulated- room had a heater . Cons. You hear everything in your rooms. Including conversations and foots steps. If you boarding or skiing the uphill trek will make you wish for Jesus, is a bit far. The overall experience was great and in all honestly you are far too...
