"We had an amazing family reunion at Domaine de la Citerne. The host was wonderful and the house was fantastic ! Everything one would need to have a great relaxing weekend was thought of and we spent much time at the house hanging out and relaxing by the pool using the grill. We’ve never stayed at a house so well equipped and would love to stay again."

"Fine for 2 people. One toilet only which is ensuite with no ventilation so would be unsuitable for 2 separate families even though there are two bedrooms. Nice patio areas. Lovely and peaceful at nights. Jean Remy kindly helped us out with food and wine when we arrived late and nowhere available to eat out locally. We were there beginning April - would be lovely and cool there in hot weather. Netflix available and large tvs which was nice. Basic and no cleaning products in kitchen or bathroom....

"We are a family of 7 - two teens, two adult children plus one partner and two parents -the house was perfect for our group, lots of space inside and out, beautifully presented and the pool and outside eating areas are really nice and convivial. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly and although this is their home, there is plenty of space to unpack and settle in. A trip into Aix is recommended. "

"We enjoyed our stay in this home conveniently located to Aix and the other nearby villages. Unlike other vacation homes, this one is truly someone's residence, so it contained many personal effects down to the homeowner's own hair products. Given this, we had all of the necessary items to cook, do laundry, etc. The air conditioning was excellent and we had plenty of hot water for showers. "The property listing looked perfect for me to take my parents away for a week in the sun, on arrival we managed to find the property eventually as my sat nav wasn’t having a good day, the next door neighbour guided us and photos of the properties facade, A few texts later with the owner Nathalie, and we had gained entry, the property listed was a 2 bed 2 toilet 300 m from the sea and local amenities, unfortunately although correct it was also a steep climb uphill from the sea to the property,...

"Our host greeted us at arrival and also provided a few tips for our stay. We needed to go to the Paris 2024 Olympics and he sent us some information on that. Thanks :-). A local store (Spar) is within 5 minutes of walking distance. The few questions we had were answered fast and efficiently over emails. The kitchen could use a small equipment upgrade. Overall a really nice experience."

"The owner Marianne, and her husband, were so nice to allow us to check in 2 hours early. They gave us produce from their garden to use in our home cooked meals. The weather was extremely hot (95-100 F) during our visit and they request the air conditioning be off when you leave the house, but because part of the house is underground, it does not get hot induce too quickly. There is a washing machine for your clothes and a rack to dry them outside. It’s dry like a desert in the summer and clothes...

"Lovely property, well equipped, good position to walk to the beach or shops. Easy location to catch a train, some of the party went to see the Rugby World Cup in Marseille, and this worked well. Safe bathing for small children. Would thoroughly recommend this property for a family holiday."
