"Loved the cherry forest, the local restaurant, the open family space, the hot tub, just everything was wonderful. The only difficulty was the steep slope of the upstairs bedrooms which made for quite a few head bumps. Also the slippery stairs (watch out!). "We were pleased with our stay at the Welcome Hotel. Parking is around the back of the building and underground. It was very convenient to go to the old city by walking across the street and taking the elevator up to the historic area where there were many shops and outdoor cafes. Breakfast was excellent, but after 9 days it became repetitive. We would stay here again!"

"As a fan of Leica cameras, a trip to Wetzlar to see the Leica museum was a bucket list item of mine. Staying in the Ernst Leitz hotel, was amazing! It was very clean with a lot of character. The room itself was very spacious and the staff was very accommodating. In my opinion, photographers MUST visit the museum, and stay at this hotel."
