"Loved the cherry forest, the local restaurant, the open family space, the hot tub, just everything was wonderful. The only difficulty was the steep slope of the upstairs bedrooms which made for quite a few head bumps. Also the slippery stairs (watch out!). "What can I say , the owners went above and beyond, as were the rest of the staff very welcoming and really made me feel as if I was home . Both dinner and breakfast were excellent . My room was superb , it was quiet and comfortable. I was worried about the proximity to the motorway , My room was on the back of the hotel, but even on the front side you could not hear the road with the windows shut, and it was just background noise with them open, and the views from the front side are amazing. But it was the atmosphere, friendliness and attention to detail that made it for me . I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and I will definitely be back "

"The hotel looks like a tiny hamlet of old farm buildings which have recently been renovated. A definite rustic feel to it. Parking is 100 m in front of the hamlet. Hotels.com failed to list this hotel as having a restaurant. As such I ate junk food on the way to the hotel, only to find the perfect restaurant for me. I made space for a delicious salmon salad and wonderful glass of Riesling! The room was good and I slept very well. The only missing utility which I always need as a business traveller, was a desk. I suspect, this would also effect females needing a dressing table. I was shown an alternative room with a tiny glass table. Anyway, it didn't spoil my stay. Wonderful staff. Not too expensive. Great hotel and I would definitely stay again."
