"Room very clean but basic!! Refrigerator needs to be de-iced.Landscape needs to be cleaned and updated.Roofing fascia was missing in places, fascility needs to be painted upscale colors!! Theres no flowers or items of decor present. Hotel room window was wide open when we entered.Needed to locked and we were placed onto 2nd floor..There is no elevators and worry that seniors or disabled customers could use.. Overall...good for 1 nite stays!!"

"The hotel was neat and clean. Staff was constantly making sure of this! The breakfast bar was one of the best I've seen, food was fresh and delicious. My only suggestion is that, in the handicap accessible room, there was no shelves for shampoo etc in the shower, and the floor was kind of slippery. Other than that, all was great. "

"This was the 3rd time we stayed here and we were told that the 2nd time we were there that the bath mat was wet and left on the floor by the bed and used to clean up floor. Then he said it had to be thrown away. Mind you we didn't even know this happened and we are talking about a $3 bath mat. We were also told we were going to be charged a $35 deposit for our stay the 3rd time. He did forgo the deposit but we were not very happy."

"Really large house that accommodated our group in town for my Son’s wedding. Lower level appears to have been a former business as 3 of the rooms were offices. Only other issue was a lack of a shower/tub in the lower level."

"Very happy with our stay! Right outside of a little downtown area and the police department is across the street. It was very quiet, which we enjoy. There are two bedrooms upstairs - queen bed and twin bed. Additionally the living room has a queen sleeper inside of the couch. Plenty of dishes, towels, and anything else you would need. "We had a great stay at Franklin house. The home was clean and kept up and in a very peaceful setting yet close to things we wanted to do. Kathryn was available when/if we needed her and she is a wonderful Host. We were there for a weekend to visit Amish country, Serpent Mound and Arc of Appalachia. We definitely would recommend staying here for a nice get-away."
