There isn’t much nearby his house other than a couple of small cafes and pizzerias so be prepared to commute to city center for meals and such (20-30 minutes by bus). "We had the honor of staying here at the end of our two week tour. Loretta is fabulous and the breakfast spread is delicious. It was great to meet the horses (be careful the youngest is a little fiesty, if his ears are back don't try and say 'Hi') . We would highly recommend! The only slight downside was the box elder bugs. Maybe some kind of traps could be used, there were quite a few. But, we understand the battle!"

"A cheap option within walking distance of Verona train station. It’s an old but functional hotel and our room was clean. The area outside isn’t very nice for walking (a few homeless people hanging around) but the hotel has a car park so driving is an option.
