We had a hard time to get checked in, there is nobody behind the check-in desk. The room was fantastic. We never saw any employee, we talked with someone whose phone number was provided. At 3.00 pm we got a check-in code from Expedia. We had no internet ourself. We live in the USA and it doesn’t work in Europe.

Very nice hotel 2 blocks from the lake. Great breakfast and nice people. Big rooms, nice towels and bathroom. Would stay again! 20 minute walk to the train station.

The hotel is located on the Main Street so it is very comfortable to get around. The conditions of the hotel is very poor and needs to be upgraded.

We checked in, the room smelled like cigarettes, they did move us after telling us they upgraded us to a smaller room. Also, they did not tell us that their sports facility which included the kids pool was closed for renovation. I was very disappointed with the service.

Charming hotel with lots of character and a family business feel. Our room on the 5th floor was a very good size with a fairly comfortable king-size bed and 3 windows ( 1 in the bath) overlooking the city. The bathroom was large as well with great water pressure in the shower. No AC in the room but a Dyson fan was in the room for our use. The location is great. 6 minute walk to the train/bus station. 10 minutes to the lake boat tours, restaurants, bars and all the main sights. Staff was very kind and helpful. Highly recommend this little gem.

"For a Hostel this place was fantastic. We were in a private room with bunk beds and our own bathroom. Room had pull down shelves to use to store things and a table along with two stools.
