"The beds were super comfy! Unfortunately, one of our outlets nearest the sink didn’t work. The staff put heaters in the rooms for us since it was cold (New Year’s Eve), and that warmed the space nicely. It was fun being the only patrons at the entire hotel! The Niles is always an experience you don’t want to pass up, but know it’s an old hotel so temper your expectations for modern amenities. "

"Great communication. Manager checked in with us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. The house was as described. Well stocked and very comfortable. Great place in a beautiful setting. Quiet and comfortable street out of town but very close and easy to get to town. Amazing host! Awesome stay! The house was warmed and ready to go upon arrival. 5 stars well earned."

"My wife and I were amazed and absolutely overwhelmed by the hospitable nature of this home! We could not have felt more welcome! In addition, the size of this vacation rental was more than enough for us. In fact, we have family living in Alturas and visit them from Denver at least twice a year! Our desire would be to stay at your location for our upcoming visits! And we pray that God blesses you all in a rich and meaningful way! Once again, thank you for having us as your guests!"

"This property was AMAZING! Worked out perfect for our last minute plans we needed to stay in Cedarville to visit my grandpa over the Thanksgiving weekend. We come to Cedarville every Thanksgiving as our family is over at our family ranch in Vya, NV and as our family grows we need more space. Steamboat Stop gave us exactly that! "The Cheese Factory home is exactly as advertised - old western-style theme décor, space for many (we were just two adults), a well-stocked and large kitchen, and quiet, quiet, quiet with a bubbling creek next door. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and communications with the host went well. (There are stairs to the main (2nd) floor, if that's a concern.) Comfy bed, and large living room area with books and games. Great stay!"
